The Keston Dyslexia and Learning centre is owned and managed by Sarah Beard. It is part of dittas limited and Dyslexia Services.
The dyslexia and spld tuition centre is situated in Ravensbourne Business Centre and is owned by Sarah Beard, a dyslexia Specialist with over 16 years of experience in the field of dyslexia.
Our services include Specialist tuition, assessment and consultancy for both children and adults in education and the workplace.
We can help children and adults suffering from any of the following Specific Learning Difficulties:
- Dyslexia
- Dyspraxia
- ADHD
- Asperger's Syndrome/ High functioning Autism
- Dyscalculia
- Dysgraphia
- Memory Difficulties
- Literacy Problems
- Comprehension Disorder
- Numeracy Problems
- Handwriting difficulties
In addition we offer 11 plus coaching for the Kent and Bexley Selective School Tests.
While your child is attending tuition or an assessment parents are welcome to wait and observe the lesson or wait in the centre or landscapped gardens. Alternatively you may leave your child for the duration of the session.
Our staff uses a variety of teaching methods to make learning fun. We try hard to foster an academic environment in which children feel comfortable so that they can study most effectively.
The centre's main strengths lie in :

- Use multi- sensory teaching to meet the needs of pupils with SpLD
- Addressing underpinning weaknesses specific to the individual's profile
- Fostering self esteem and self confidence

At the dyslexia and spld tuition centre, we use multi-sensory teaching methods to suit the individual learning needs of our students and develop underpinning cognitive weaknesses associated with their specific profile.
